About Baker Brook Sporting Camp
Hi, I'm Scott Clark, your guide and owner of Baker Brook Sporting
Camps. Most of our guests have, at one time or another, been to Maine
to hike our majestic mountains or view our rugged coastline. Many return to Maine for the Fall hunt. Baker Brook Sporting Camps are located in the town of Kenduskeag.
The remote
location offers peace and quiet but only a 20 minute drive to Bangor. The main camp offers on-demand start generator, large wood
stove and color television with VCR. We book 6 people maximum per
camp per week. We will be hunting on more than 3000 acres
of privately owned land, enough to hunt a different area each day.
Our remote hunting spots require crossing streams with 3 feet of
rapid water and have steep ledges to climb. Breakfast may be at
camp, or at a diner a short drive from camp on our way to a new
location. Lunch, cooked on an open fire, like venison stew, will
sustain us through an afternoon of hunting from tree stands. Once
back to camp, after a day in the Maine woods, we enjoy an "all
you can eat" home-cooked supper and relax. This is your
vacation; call ahead of time so we can plan your hunt, travel, and
meals to
fit your needs. We offer 4-wheel drive vehicles and a new 4x4 ATV
for removal of game from the woods and to accommodate the terrain,
plus we have a new snowmobile for the later part of the snow season.
We welcome you and look forward to planning a stay with us that will
leave you with memories for a lifetime. |
